A rental shoot is not a listing shoot
Most photographers shoot a short-term rental exactly the way they shoot a house for sale. It is not the same job, and the difference shows up in the two places that matter most.
Amenity and community coverage
A buyer is purchasing the house. A guest is booking the stay — which means the pool, the lanai, the dock, the shared amenities and the walk to the water carry as much weight as the kitchen. STR shoots are built to cover the things people scroll for, not just the rooms an appraiser counts.
Styled detail shots
Listing photography reads as inventory. Hospitality photography reads as an experience. Alongside the wide room shots, an STR shoot captures the smaller vignettes — the set table, the made bed, the coffee corner — that make a place feel lived-in rather than listed.
What we recommend for hosts
Airbnb and Vrbo display photos — not 3D tours, not floor-plan software, not an MLS write-up. So a host package should be photography and drone, and nothing a booking platform has nowhere to put. That is Essential.

Sizing it to the property
- Three bedrooms or more. Airbnb's photo tour sorts listing photos room by room, so every bedroom and bath should have its own frame. Add extra edited photos at $5 each.
- The cover photo. One virtual twilight of the front is included — the first photo guests see in search. Want the pool or the lanai at dusk too? More twilight frames are $15 each.
- Shared amenities. The community and amenity set ($95) covers the clubhouse, the shared pool and the path to the beach.
- Video for your own site or social. Airbnb has nowhere to put one, but if you run a direct-booking site, Signature at $597 adds an edited cinematic cut and virtual twilight.

- Photos are delivered in 24 to 48 hours depending on the package, in a private online gallery you can download from directly. Rush delivery is available as an add-on when a listing has to go live sooner.
- Can I use the photos on Airbnb, VRBO and my own website?
- Yes. You get unlimited use of the photos for your own property — Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, your own site, social media and paid ads — for as long as you own it. Frame & Form retains copyright and the right to show the work in its own portfolio.
- Can I put a video or a 3D tour on my Airbnb listing?
- Not on Airbnb itself — the listing displays photos, which is why Essential is built around photos and drone rather than tours. A video can still earn its place on your own booking site or social; Signature includes an edited cinematic cut.
